• 1 pie crust (uncooked)
  • 250 grams of walnuts
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 4 eggs

Take out the butter of the fridge. Garnish a pie pan with the pie crust and prick it.
Blend the walnuts. Then add the butter and the sugar and blend again.
Separate the whites from the yolks. Add the egg yolks in the blender and blend.
Whip the egg whites firm. Incorporate the walnut mixture into the egg whites.
Pour onto the pie crust.
Bake for 45 minutes in a pre-heated oven, at 395°F (200°C), taking care to cover the pie in the oven with folding (aluminium) paper after 20 minutes in the oven.
Eat warm or cold.

For an even better pie, make a chocolate icing: melt 100 grams of dark chocolate with 30 grams of butter and spread it over the pie. Let it cool or not.
